It's an absolute Artrage !!!

...Well, if there's anyone like myself who can find their way around photoshop, but who haven't had the time to delve into the mammouth world of 'Painter' to achieve that nice painterly look, then help is at hand. Online there is a cool albeit limited package by the name of 'Artrage'. I've had it for sometime and have only just got around to using it. It takes a while to get used to but I think the outcome is worth it...

I decided to paint a Llama as I'd been recently building a model of one for a game, and some of the photography reference I'd found for these animals was really lovely stuff. I worked up a very basic color sketch of the picture in photoshop purely for speed, and then did the final overpaint in Artrage...

I'd encourage anyone to go and try this package; as primitive as it is, what it does have is really quite good, and when it's free....well, who can complain!

Getcha Pull!...

very nice indeed my student, very nice indeed...

clicking on the image really shows you how good this is, damn... not bad for a pupil.

Did you cut off a bit of the bottom? Composition wise it feels like you did...

Well, the only thing I can say is: WELL DONE! I don't know how much more I can teach you..

blessings;

your master

Excellent work you have here! In regards to your question about the music on my blog I had a friend host the music on his site and he gave me the code to drop into my template.

Godver.

It's THEIR way, not They're way. I'm a Dutch entertainer of children and my English is still better than yours! I don't call this art, I call this.. FART

GHE!

I love the choice of monotone colors of this piece and really think this is beautiful. I always was curious about Llamas and think you captured the animal nicely. Thanks for coming to my blog. Can't wait to see more.
